Designing a Naples Travel Brochure
This project started as a simple idea: create a travel brochure from scratch and see how far I could take it in one focused session. A few hours later, I had a finished tri-fold pamphlet that I genuinely loved, not because it was perfect, but because it felt instinctive, intentional, and real.
I chose Naples, Italy because it’s a place I’ve always wanted to visit. The mix of history, food, coastline, and raw energy felt like the perfect subject for a travel piece. Naples isn’t overly polished, and I wanted the design to reflect that. Its vibrant, layered, and full of movement. The food culture alone is enough to inspire a layout, and the idea of seeing Pompeii in person has always fascinated me. Designing for a place you’re personally drawn to makes the process more intuitive.
I designed this brochure without using any templates. Every layout decision the typography, color, image placement, and hierarchy, was built from scratch. I wanted it to feel like something a real travel agency could print and hand to a client, not a generic mockup. The angled shapes, strong visuals, and structured sections helped guide the reader through the experience, just like a journey through the city itself.
The written content was assisted by AI, but the design, layout, and visual storytelling are entirely my own. This project reminded me how much I enjoy fast, focused design sessions. Trusting my instincts, working efficiently, and letting the concept come together naturally.
Overall, this was one of those projects where everything clicked. It reinforced why I love design and why I’m drawn to travel and lifestyle branding in the first place.
