Letterforms 1

Letterforms 2

In one of my recent projects, Letterforms, I explored the structure of letters in a way that goes beyond their usual function. Rather than focusing on their meaning, this project was about examining letters as abstract forms, paying attention to both their shapes and the spaces around them.

Using different typefaces, I analyzed how the individual parts of a letter interact with their surroundings. The goal was to create a balance where neither the letter nor the space around it was more important—achieving a true gestalt, where the whole design becomes greater than the sum of its parts.

What I Learned from This Project

  • Letters are more than symbols—they have an artistic structure that can be appreciated like architecture.
  • Spacing and balance matter—figuring out how letters and the space around them interact is key to good typography.
  • Typefaces have personalities—different fonts bring their own style and character, influencing how we interpret a design.

This project gave me a deeper appreciation for typography, showing me that letters aren’t just tools for communication but also works of art in their own right. It was a fun challenge to see them from a purely visual perspective and play with their forms in a creative way.

3d model of a guitar that is red and blue

I recently designed a 3D guitar with a bold blue and red color scheme, blending sleek form with vibrant contrast. The project was a fun exploration of shape, depth, and color interaction, giving the guitar a dynamic, almost electric feel. It was a great exercise in 3D modeling and design, pushing me to think about how colors and forms work together to create a striking visual impact.
